BM Hunter Safe leveling

Behaviors for Hunters

BM Hunter Safe leveling

Postby streetfighter92 » Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:52 am

I made this behavior becouse I often died with the other behaviors on the forum, no dissrespect for those who have posten BM hunter behavoirs, but with bad gear like me it can be hard sometimes :D

Before my hunter could take 2 mobs with some damage taken, but this bahavior knows how to handle 2-3 even 4 ( with some damage taken ).
It have worked perfectly for me since I made this behavior! Try it out ;)

Credit to all who posten BM hunter behaviors, I've learned how to make behaviors thro them! Thanks!

Plz give feedback, this is my first real behavior and feel free to improve it and post back here!

Edit*
The behavior should work for most levels, all the "rules" are named and not ID based. With just a little tweaking with the spell ranks u should be fit for fight!

Edit**
:D and you'll never go oom, bandages is good but not needed. U shouldent die with this behavior :)

I tried your behaviour at level 55.

1) It does not mark. I added the argument but still it won't mark, unsure why.
2) After it wing clips and disengages, it sits doing nothing.

As I am 55 I am unsure whether the spells that I did not have available and the respective rules I delted, have affected the behaviour. Still there is no hunter's mark argument in there.

Overall it's a great behaviour. I would like to see Hunter's Mark and Bestial Wrath in there as well!! Is it possible?

Thanks

EDIT: BW works great! I love the BW + freezing trap combo. Quite a piece of work there! I'm excited! (still no hunter's mark)

If you can't get Hunter's Mark to work it has NOTHING to do with the behavior. I'm guessing you've just set up the behavior wrong, or you're having some sort of but

I can't disagree with you there Mav, it's just that I can not understand why it does not work. My argument has been placed at the top of the combat queue and goes like this

IF target DOES NOT HAVE debuff HUNTER'S MARK

CAST SPELL Hunter's Mark

ON target

It should work, I have it set up like this on my own behaviour and works just fine.

And your "Target" is "Enemy"? And you have the "Name" option selected next to "...debuff Hunter's Mark"?

If your rule is sound, this is a bug, but I would suggest doing the regular bug rotation before reporting it (in the right place, right format, logs, behavior, etc.).

Instead of using the name of the spell, use the number, should fix the issue. I have it working fine on my hunter. You should always try to use numbers rather than names when setting up your behaviour, it works flawlessly for me, whereas the names tend to be buggy in my opinion.

Names (if spelled correctly) are just as good as numbers in my experience. My hunter's behavior works flawlessly (well, no bugs, not yet a horribly fine tuned work of art)!
